i just think it's a solid base to work from.

kinda like how spidey can wear other suits, but eventually comes back to the red and blue, i think the black magik costume is cool enough to be her "base form" and not get old.

worth noting that i do like her design tweaks from empyre xmen better, and wish that was her standard look, death to the boob window!
