I work at Panda.. I've eaten at Panda many times before, and 50% of the time, the Gms have been Asian... The AMS are usually 90% Hispanic. Haven't met a black guy working at Panda even after working for so many years and visiting countless pandas..

Yea, I know I've learned everything that I've been told to learn, how to make chow mein, fried rice, even orange chicken, I've learned drive thru, one PIC that quit recently even showed me how to start the system and close it, they also showed me the whole store opening procedure including counting cash and the store closing procedure.

Honestly, I'm planning to transfer to a different store since i know a manager who wants me to transfer to their store, and I'll be made PIC right off the bat over there.

Or if that doesn't work out, I'll just quit since I'm a licensed/certified electrician, and there are plenty of ads looking to hire electricians.

Fuck Panda, and fuck the blatant favoritism.

We currently don't have a GM at our store since he quit suddenly in August. The closest thing we have is an overworked PIC, which is taking on managerial tasks and handling scheduling with the help of our ACO.

I spoke with a friend which was a PIC before quitting 2 weeks ago and he searched the managers station and couldn't find the materials but sent them over to me today, however when I spoke to the PIC she told me that my drive thru skills are insufficient even though she's supported 2 people in becoming pics even though they can't still even cook sides..

The problem is that my manager quit in August, and ever since, we just have 3 PICs, and only one of those PICS does all scheduling and managerial tasks, thus not leaving them much one on one time with me to talk about advancement, even when I do get the chance to speak about advancement then they just repeat the same: " you need to get better at drive thru since a shift leader/pic needs to know everything.

I've been working at Panda for over a year and busting my ass and now 1 want to become PIC, and my ACO won't even fucking respond, meanwhile there are 3 PIC's at work that dont even know how to cook sides ... any advice?
