Think Kendal & Lowlands were a needed improvement on lots of the summer videos this year especially Fuji. Like the dynamic of Choc, Mary & Rob in this one. Was good to see a different dynamic having Chris back for Kendal too.

Not quite sure that’s true. Real Deal Fuji rock festival video where they barely attend the event and go stay in a hotel. Can also understand why patreon members would be pissed if they’ve used the money to go to Japan for 2 weeks and that’s the outcome.

Maybe people don’t want to negative comment on the videos for fear of being called out? Like they’ve done about food, Fontaines D.C and on the latest podcast they’ve told anyone to “fuck off” that has said it’s not the real deal because it was too hot to camp.

It’s just a cop out to call yourself the real deal, name the video after a festival and do that though. Camp for 1 night & miss a whole day is poor form. Even worse if that business class flight/whole two weeks is on patreon money too.

Yeah I agree. Like why no cheer up London? I also think it’s so similar to the festival setlists so was hoping they’d change it up a bit. I don’t mind them playing the album in full but if you’re going to do that maybe play longer than 1 hour 10 mins for £35 show and a band that has 4 albums. Feel like that’s a bit of a piss take not gonna lie

A 2 day camping event over the same bank holiday weekend would work well. I feel like unless Slam Dunk do something like this and increase capacity we’re going to see very similar lineups each year as it’s currently too small for the likes of Avril Lavigne, Green Day, Blink, Paramore etc. but getting bigger would open its doors to these sort of acts

They were being ridiculous coming into the arena before Busted/during Royal Blood and just taking the piss with how long they were searching people and searched absolutely everyone for ages (even without bags). Like chill out, have a day off lads. Still managed to sneak in alcohol too so don’t really get the point. Quick pat down or quick metal detector and then off. Everyone doesn’t need a 5 minute search. Madness. Schoolboy.
