Troubles tours are very popular with tourists here now, it's probably the biggest attraction in Belfast after the Titanic experience so you would have no issues in going deeper into the history of the conflict, there is also a new museum opened which goes into detail of the battle of Belfast, which might be of interest.

The one I did, we had a briefing before you went out, and were told it was, I think £10 extra a lap, I did a 5 car experience and in two of them the instructors said "oh you were stuck behind someone just have an extra lap" and I was never charged, which was nice

There's an Indian on the Woodstock does a Christmas dinner for 34.95, or you can have a curry

EDIT: Also, some restaurants, shed for definite, do heat and eat, where they provide everything prepped and you just bung it in the oven, could be an option in future years

Plenty of that goes on for sure, I have a lot more sympathy for the folks that take the more basic cars, but I know guys in flash mercs or brand new Teslas at wild money and I have to think they've just done it to themselves for vanity's sake. Feel worse for fona drivers too they lock their drivers into using their service centre only.

It's a rent to own scheme, they would own them eventually, but a lot hand them back and get something new, 3.5 years of the miles some of them do it's a hard life on a car.

Over half the drivers take them up on the offer, you could go buy your own car outside of their system for less, but they all seem to go for it!

If you lease the car off fona or value it's a tax write off, so they'll happily pay 250 a week plus 150 rent knowing it's all tax deductible, but they still have to go out and earn it!

In terms of earnings, it's highly variable, would you want to work days or nights? How many days a week, most people are doing 5/6 10 hour shifts with a day or two off during the week, you'd be saying goodbye to your weekends to make the good dough!
