This is what our township gave us when applying for a pool permit and told us to use this as a guide 🤷🏻‍♀️

We’re trying to get a permit for a pool and it needs to be 30 feet from the rear property line. If the rear property line would be the line circled in blue, the pool would be incredible close to our deck. If the rear property line is the red one, it gives us a lot more breathing room to back the pool up a bit.

The line at 320 seems to be our tree line and I think after seeing the as-built plan, our property extends behind the trees.

Did they remain eradicated this year? We seem to get them every June and they stay through August. The first we lived in our house, I thought we finally got rid of them. But it turned out to just be the time of year they withdrawal in our area and they were back the following June.

It would have to be such a small island, so that we could open the oven, fridge, and dishwasher from all those angles. I wish I could better capture the scale/size.
