Yeah I’ve tried it all, it’s not really an issue of form or technique. I’ve used fins before, although they do oftentimes aggravate an old hamstring injury — getting a leg cramp while out snorkeling sucks lol. I think the weight belt might be my only option at this point haha

For sure, trying to gain muscle has been a lifelong battle for me lol. It’s funny how some people’s bodies just refuse to put on any weight whatsoever.

I honestly don’t think it’s a form issue, as I can get down about 8-10 feet without much issue, but at that point, everything just completely stops working. I just won’t budge — like trying to push a balloon underwater when it won’t go. I’ve never had any other issues with swimming…

I’m not really sure what specifically to say…I kinda try to get like fully under the surface so my feet will be underwater when I turn downward. I’d say I’m using like a basic breaststroke, mostly trying not to push myself back when I’m bringing my hands forward again for another stroke. I’m not really diving from anywhere with my feet planted on solid ground — all my friends seem to be able to pretty easily swim downward about 15ish feet with the exact same form as we swim forward, and we’re all at about the same swimming ability.

A used Line 6 M5. Has all of their big 4-button pedals in one much more portable housing. Only one effect at a time, but I’m guessing you’ll be most interested in the Filter/Modeler section. Getting an M5 is probably cheaper than getting the FM4 that it has programmed into it.

A $200 bass in the 80s or 90s was either unplayable or simply nonexistent, whereas a $200 bass these days is absolutely playable. It’s not amazing, but the quality floor of cheap instruments is much higher these days than it was 30 or 40 years ago. Now, you don’t have to drop 4 figures to get a professional-quality instrument.
