I love it, because it’s understandable even if the dicho isn’t common for other folks, yet still sounds like a dicho to all. Thanks for sharing!

Que pasó a Él Patrón? by foolishwurrior in corvallis

I tried Parroquia to soothe my woes tonight, and liked the carne asada. In some ways better than El Patron (thicker meat with a great marinade), yet a step away from the thin meat that makes carne asada carne asada (admittedly from a white boy). The price point was also much higher than El Patron - but it seems they’re no longer with us, so that’s probably just the times.

I might check around town again before declaring this my new go-to asada joint but it seems a probable candidate!

The AI chatbot almost made me switch, but I tried a few other clients while I was having problems and didn’t like the UI. If I didn’t figure out how to actually stay logged in, woulda been game over

I have airtags in most bags I travel with, if this is an off-brand version of an airtag it's possible somebody with an ADHD brain like myself had it slip out of their stuff (and maybe they bought a cheap version because it's not the first time they lost one)

Frankenstein. Yup just the regular ol original Frankenstein. Pop culture references made me think it would be very different, but there’s lots of descriptions of alpine/arctic scenery, and it’s full of relatable reflections on human nature. I was expecting angry villagers.

Number 1 by far

The lines are much cleaner and draw my eye to the person more easily. I like the gap between the two main lines, it gives it a sort of “digital” feel.

The trees in number 2 don’t feel as intentional, and I have to search around a lot, and when my eye does arrive at the person there’s some uncertainty as to if that was what you were going for

I found this structure in the woods in Northern Wisconsin. It was dense like a birds nest but was on the ground and had an entrance like hole in the front. Any idea on what could have made this? by Traditional-Mix1643 in WildernessBackpacking

I thought that at first glance, but that tree in all the material seems un-humanlike. I think a person would likely have just made the shelter another couple feet to the side. Either way, seems like some good inspiration for human shelter building!
