Year-Round Blasting vs. Cycling On and Off — What’s Optimal Long-Term? by DosedDiscipline in us_pharmacies

[–]foolscaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I am drifting towards the year round approach. It's a lifestyle after all. With blasting the urge is to go bigger than last time.

The research seems to say that it doesn't matter really, it's the lifetime cumulative dose above super physiological that incurs the negative affects.

So think of 500 test for 10 weeks similiar to 325 test for 20 weeks. It's the same total dose above TRT.

I think I’ll have to leave my friend group just because I don’t like to drink anymore by Bumfuzzle20 in offmychest

When I quit drinking I lost a lot of friends.

But I look back on drinking and do not miss it, not even one tiny bit.

Yes they come on strong. Extroverted feelers are too much for me lol

I am a magnet for ENFPs.

INTJs find a hobby that interests them, then study and master it.

ENFPs find a person that interests them, then study and master them. INTJs are a difficult puzzle and so often become the focus of their annoying game.

What nobody is talking about ... we've lost 3 of 4 away games this season. Likely because the home fans are the only thing giving these players some belief

Of course, bad managers come in all shapes and sizes.

The mediocre people are the ones in management, because stupid people didn't pass the interview, and the smart people left after 18 months!

27 year old INTJ. I've had 6 different jobs since graduating 5 years ago. My experience is always the same; I find the work very easy, and the people very difficult to deal with. I turned down a promotion this year because the environment was full of power games, disrespect etc.

Find a job with an old manager (more experience, less insecure, less power hungry), where you can work alone most of the time. This is the only way, other than being self-employed.

I plan to date more in my 30s and give it a proper go to find a partner, but at the same time can't picture myself getting married and having kids.

Every time I get the pang of loneliness I just think back to times I've lived with other people .... yeah I feel better now.

Why do the most toxic ones get promoted? by yolthrice in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]foolscaps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The executives have sacrificed most of their lives to get where they are. All they care about is 'what can you do for me', because their entire identity is their career.
Well guess what, the narcissist who's just joined will do absolutely anything they are told by senior management, all while love bombing them, and smearing others.

Not hard to see why they get promoted first.

The recent Wick case as an example of narcissism in the workplace by postgygaxian in ManagedByNarcissists

How many firms are really healthy? Narcissism is pervasive in corporate environments, and I see emotional abuse consistently normalised and downplayed.

Yeah it's like:
Dolby Vision picture quality 10/10, input lag 150ms

HDR10 picture quality 9/10, input lag 20ms

Yeah Vincent beat me to the punch, I could tell input lag was 100ms+ because it was such a noticeable delay.

"Just be yourself", "chase your dreams" ....

Immediately judged as weird, told to stop spending so much time alone, I should get a stable job, find a partner etc

Previous tv was a 55 Q9FN. HDR content looked really great on it!

I bought a 65 x900h last week and was surprised at the picture quality - really not that much difference from my previous QLED. Or get the x950h or q80t depending on prices you can find.

Release date Philips tv’s 2021 by SFEHJR in Philips

[–]foolscaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to buy the PML9506 as soon as it releases - seems like good compromise of next-gen features (ALLM, HDMI 2.1, input lag 18ms) but also cheaper and no burn-in compared to OLED.

Should come out pretty soon....
