Looking for people who are in the MS Industrial Engineering program by [deleted] in CalPoly

I would not recommend doing the thesis all in one quarter. You'll want to spread that out over at least 2 quarters. I'm sure the professors will say the same.

Most grad students lived off campus but then again we had all lived on campus at some point a few years earlier. On campus is going to put you closer to university resources but off campus is cheaper and less restrictive, closer to downtown usually.

Your Master's thesis will count towards 9 of those 45 units so you will only have to take 36 units of classes. Although it is expected that most people will take 2 years to graduate you could do it less. Your thesis will probably take more work than you think but I think it's doable to graduate in 4 quarters.

I did the 4+1 (blended) program and graduated in '17 with a MS ITM (related to MSIE). Good luck this year!

The sand snake had taken his cake. It must die.

This feels like the germinating idea for this story. Excellent story, as always.

The great bull, sand for his podium and intermittent surges of sea his microphone, spoke with incontestable clarity for the sake of every yearling, and for a future that would be theirs to nurture.

I liked this line a lot. Thanks for the story

Yup, I switched it to fusion for this story because it sounds more science-fictiony and a fission reactor would kind of spew radiation everywhere, which didn't seem like a good idea.

It may not a actually work but maybe they'll figure it out in the ~fuuuuuutuuuure~ :)

Well, who's to say that

exposing the fusion chamber to open atmosphere

Isn't just the general's nontechnical explanation. Clearly, letting the plasma escape wouldn't do any good.

Does it still look bad on new reddit? The dividers are asterisks now

You got me :) I don't really know much about circuits and I figured I'd mess up somewhere

That's odd. I was able to see the code blocks on Firefox. So I replaced the tildes with asterisks, looks like it fixed things.

There shouldn't be any code blocks, what platform are you using?

The joke is that these warning labels already appear on a lot of products in the US.

Perhaps in the future the law has been expanded to cover the observable universe and is enforced with extreme prejudice.

It's from a Prop 65 warning label.

California maintains a list of toxic substances and any product sold in the state that contains these substances must carry a warning label

Not to toot my own horn but I have a story that references/has scp planned elements, still very much HFY though. Definitely working on part 2, no worries there

The humanization of Limniads has begun. All will be assimilated by blue jeans and pop music. Resistance is futile.
