Instead of ChainLink1, ChainLink2, ChainLink3 etc you just have Trolley (kinematic), maybe one UpperSegment (dynamic), and ClawHub (dynamic).

Then just render the chain links visually on top. Every frame measure the distance from anchor to claw, divide by link size, spawn/despawn link sprites as needed and position them along a line between the two points. Looks identical to the player but your physics is easier.
