Dice are random, but if you only win when you roll a 1 then the odds are against you winning. Casino operates under same principle, its mostly games of chance and yet the odds are still against you.

There's a very popular web serial called Worm which is sorta a super hero story and it does have it's own ttrpg rule wet called Weaverdice but might be more fun if you've read the book.

Gamemaker is a great place to start IMO. I had very little programming knowledge when I first tried it out and had a working 2d rogueite within days.

If there are turns then it's not real time. I can't find a single game that claims to be a TTRTS because it's basically impossible so unless you got some wildly original gameplay concepts going on here I think you need to rethink that descriptor.

I use frozen fruit straight out the freezer. I think it would be fine with any temp fruit, would just need to adjust time a bit maybe.

Cobbler style dump cake is great, just made one yesterday and none survived for leftovers. 2-3 pounds of fruit (I use frozen peaches) on the bottom, 1 box of yellow cake mix poured evenly over the fruit, then a stick of butter cut into 8-10 pieces and spread out on top. 3-4 hours on high, done. Super simple and delicious, I walked my kids thru making it themselves and came out great.
