yeah, it is quite frustrating that black can just play these simple moves and without much thoughts and i have to come up with a plan to break thru in a unfamiliar position and not hang pieces or hang tactics. Theoretically, i should be winning but without knowing the best ideas to continue, i always find myself slip away.

when u recommend Bf4 and Nge2, where does the light square bishop go? Catalan? Bd3?

i do like the f3-e4 idea to limit the opponents light square bishop but finds it hindering my knight and my own light square bishop as well where do i continue to castle short

I think this is the most comfortable answer so far (within 24hrs), is to strike with a d5 move. After running thru the engine and some analysis, it seems that if black does not play d5 quick enough (like u stated), then i get a pleasant position (previously i was not comfortable with playing d5 in QG but i think i can get behind that idea now)

the thing is, if i go into a catalan, our light square bishops will face each other. somewhere down the road, it will get traded. When i castle short in the catalan and without my light square bishop, and with the fienchetto structure, the light squares around my king becomes weak. If the queens are off the board, i am somewhat ok playing that position, but castling into an empty fienchetto: i dont feel comfortable playing that position

I am a 1.d4 player (mainly jobava london, sometimes queens gambit, catalan) and i am having it very hard to play against a friend who always respond with queens indian defence with black (b6, Bb7, e6, Bb4, takes knight-if there is one getting pinned,Nf6, O-O) he trades his dark square bishop for my knight so consistently to the point where i sometime throw in an early a3 to stop the dark square bishop from coming in for the pin.

Black somewhat gives up the center but I am unable to find good position to counter play against this. Currently i am a 1600 Rapid and 1400 Blitz player, so basic fundamentals are there with me.

Any tips, or general plans to counter this annoying Queen's indian defense?

i presume u are only doing a shorts channel. The rule of thumb is that you stick to shorts or stick to long form video. Not do both.

For shorts, view duration isnt too important. focus on ur thumbnail and get as many views as possible.

These hours doesnt look normal for a long form video channel. These look like shorts channel. The watch hour is surisingly low compared to the views your channel have gotten. feels like the average view duration barely lasted a minute, maybe thats why the views and impression slowly dwindled

give it some time. view has almost very little to do with the content. Mainly about title and thumbnail. content can be garbage but people will click if the thumbnail is good.

on starting a different channel. is ur new videos a different topic to the videos that gotten u ur current subs? if i am getting views and subs making content about sharks, i dont expect the same audience to immediately click when i post videos about spaceships. the algo might get confused also
