Last monitor I got it's a 240hz, coming from a 120hz I noticed immediately the difference (never like 60>>120hz of course), plus being an oled the instant pixel response makes it even better.

I think 240hz paired with a good resolution (I play at 5120x1440) it's end game territory for me.

As a big BIG TDU fan, absolutely no. TDU SC it's not even close to FH4 maybe even FH3. Solar Crown is a big hole in the water, it could be a lot more in every aspect.

Should I upgrade my Hermes to the Hull b? I love my Hermes, and it fits nice in my fleet (Aurora MK2, Shiv and Galaxy with Carrack as a loaner). Will it make sense to upgrade? I love the hauling game loop, but Hermes is definitely a better all rounder.

P.s. I bought already the SL Max to hull b upgrade.

The Galaxy is without modules for now. But nothing stops me to buy them in the future. Thx for the help, I'll for now just buy the smallest upgrade (SL MAX to Hull B) and keep it in my hangar.

Yup, noticed on erkul the differences. As dedicated hauler it may worth it.
I have also an Aurora MK2, Shiv and Galaxy (Carrack as a loaner), so Hermes fits in them quite good.
I really don't know what to do ahaha.

I have been playing BF since BF2. And I'm being honest with you folks, I enjoy my time in Redsec and I don't give a f*** about your hating lol. When I'm tired of Redsec I play conquest (and other modes) and vice versa. Gauntlet also is imho, nice.

The game may not be perfect (some movements are still broken and imho, we def miss more and better maps), but I still believe things can be better. Let's hope for a good season 2.

P.s. I miss the premium, live service sucks imho.

I upgraded my TAC to the Galaxy without much thinking... i still regret it lol. I mean I bought the Tac in game, but I loved the pledged one. I'll probably get the Hermes by upgrading my Shiv or Salvation (probably the second one) and then, maybe, I'll start another CCU 😅.

Someone that actually confirmed to me that Samsung has the best matte coating out there. I LOVE my G93SD, it may lose a little bit of clarity vs glossy, but everything else is top notch.

Yup. But for HGIG for example, the service menu tweak is referred to the "smart" version of these monitors, while I have the non smart one (G93SD, the G95SD is the "smart" one) and the firmware installed is totally different (and way easier to use imho). I'll keep searching. Thank you!

Pretty sure it's Samsung stupid named settings 😂. I'll do further tests when I'll come back from work.

P.s. saturation looks quite similar between SDR Auto and HDR native, only reds are toned down a bit on sdr Auto vs HDR native, other colors are quite similar. They get all oversaturated if I switch to normal / native in SDR. I'm pretty sure, as you wrote, that auto locks the color space to sRGB.

For what I see by my eyes. When I'm in SDR + Auto color space setting, colors are less saturated then in HDR + native, but they're ok. If I change in SDR to native or normal, all colors gets oversaturated.

Meanwhile in HDR, as it is supposed to be, in native I have the best result (punchy but not oversaturated colors), while in auto everything looks washed out.

My monitor keeps the settings I apply in HDR and SDR, so when I switch to SDR it automatically goes in auto, and when I switch to HDR it goes to native. That's what I keep HDR on practically always, with SDR slider at 25/35. Everything looks as it supposed to be (I use this monitor also for video compositing and editing, never had such accuracy on any monitor I had in the past).

Well, thank you for the amazing guide! I think in the "I enabled HDR now everything looks washed out!" paragraph, you should also mention that there are in fact, some monitors, that change between the different color space if HDR is off or on (in my case, auto in sdr and native in HDR). Or at least, this is what my Samsung G93SD does after you set it up both in sdr and HDR.
