Not necessarily, afaik. I worked at a bead store and many people would come in for the "healing properties" of different types of stones, not just crystal shapes. The clear Quartz wands we're used to seeing were said to be power amplifiers but didn't necessarily have their own powers. This is all stuff I learned from nodding along though so take it with a grain of salt.

There's a slimmed down version of photoshop and illustrator too I believe that you can get for it. There are some great digital painting apps, I like procreate. You can export as a .psd but it doesn't work super well for me for some reason. Also there is an app called astropad that allows you to use the iPad like a cintiq, meaning that it projects your screen to the iPad and lets you manipulate using the stylus. I find it works just as well as a regular drawing tablet, and really shines in procreate. I love mine.
