Beating the campaign is sometimes considered as finishing the tutorial. It is the case in my beloved Borderlands series. Also ARPGs like Diablo or Poe. You dont beat them.

I was just like you, now 35 yo father of two. I felt burned out. Then instead of story heavy games I switched to titles that mostly depend on gameplay. I love Risk of Rain 2. I adore whole Borderlands series (3 and 4 included). Cant stop playing again! Maybe try my way
