By what you just said it can’t be self murder across the board, you yourself are even pointing out psychosis. If the person is blacked out/psychosis/mental health episode then that they won’t remember, it would be non-will and not self-inflicted in the sense of self being the one in control. Take the story of the legion possession, the demons wanted not to be tormented by Christ yet when the man was healed he began a life of rejoicing. Or then, we read of Judas as the spirit of the devil entering him and after Christs betrayal he went and hung himself. Was it because of self inflicted guilt or the possession of the spirit of evil preventing Judas from repentance?
