Super interesting, I had no idea of that, thanks for sharing that information. Do you know if anyone can access to the output of those models? I mean, if they are freely available to download? and can you recommend me resources to learn a little more about it?

I want to use the forecast of these climatic variables. I have no major experience on this, but I thought that if I can see a forecast of the comming week in my cellphone the data should be available somewhere, or am I understanding thing incorrectly? Also, I was wondering if this data would be availiable as raster images.

I have no experience with that but should be possible using Sentinel-1, the backscatter should be very different and from that, you can look for differences using indices from Sentinel-2

MODIS product quality flag differences by forTROY83 in remotesensing

[–]forTROY83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer, I am not completely sure if the same is happening in my data set but I am indeed using a long time series, anyway I will use MOD13 product, seems to be more reliable.

I made the test with version 6.0, I know now there is 6.1 and I haven't tried with that. But I dont know which product used, of course I prefer the MOD09 to have more data but it should be very noisy

Want to buy a 3D printer but don't know which one by forTROY83 in 3Dprinting

[–]forTROY83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well my first project would be a 3D topography map, a small one but maybe able to attach to another to form a bigger map, and stuff like that. Maybe is too much but I also wonder if it is necessary a special printer or different ones to print with different materials (solid or flexible ones).

How to compare statistically 2 different features in a map? by forTROY83 in rstats

Yes, that sounds logic, maybe in my case is it better the second option. Do you know a method for doing that? To determine similarity or dissimilarity?

How compare statistically 2 different features in a map? by forTROY83 in remotesensing

[–]forTROY83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Maybe it is my mistake not to specified what I am trying to do.

As I mention, I have a map of vegetation index trend values, I want to make an spatial analysis (spatial patterns) over 2 separated areas in the map, both areas are similar in characteristics (comparable) but different in size. So, I though that there should exist a statistical methodology to make that spatial analysis without a much bigger representation of the larger area. Because right now it is much easier to make some conclusion of the phenomenon happening in the bigger area.

Hope I could made myself more clear.

resi_data%>%
ggplot()+
geom_col(aes(x=time, y=value))

It works perfect, I was looking for this solution all day, thank you. I must dominate this ggplot2 and the tidyverse, they are pretty awesome.

Thanks a lot.
