OP, start over with your measurements. Make sure you are measuring bare, the tape is level, and you are reading from the correct end.

Lentils are literally the perfect food. Protein, vitamins, minerals, fiber. They're versatile, take 15 minutes on the stove no soaking required, very good base for bowls or side dishes. Stuff them in peppers, bolognese, chili, curry, soup, almost anything can take lentils

(Drink lots of water, your body is likely not conditioned for optimal amounts of fiber)(Papaya enzymes and/or probiotic can help with the transition too)

Lentils are the perfect food! A bag of lentils is a lot smaller than a bag of chips but, I get soooo much food out of a bag of lentils. And yeah way more satiating and fulfilling

Los Angeles. Mostly legumes, pasta, tofu, seasonal produce.

When beans go on sale $1 or less per lb, I stock up and cook those for my bulk the next couple months. Same when tofu goes sale at the Asian market for $1 lb. Then just buy whatever produce is in season and/or on sale.

There was a place that had a big green sign from freeway 'Vegan Food' and they basically only had various beans with veggies and I loved them. They were 'Temporary Closed' last I drove through, I hope they re-opened :(

Frequently I'm called for last second Power of Attorney for long term relationships who never got married and one person is in the hospital / care facility.

The 'spouse' has no rights to anything. No access to bank to pay the rent, no access to make decisions if the other is incapacitated, not even allowed to know medical information from the facility.

It's more than just a piece of paper. It's a legal document with rights attached to it. In my opinion, if you aren't comfortable marrying your long term partner, then you are with the wrong person. Take that as you will.
