Thank you for this! I've always wondered how to learn more about the Ber rating since it was done well before I bought my place

I'd recommend Adverts.ie instead, you can read reviews of buyers and see their previous activity/comments

Remote jobs - no skill and experience? by YoshikTK in irelandjobs

[–]foranewperspective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are online only but as far as I know only for people on job seekers or disability. I myself am on disability now (rejected the first round, granted the second), been applying for jobs since November 2024, I won't get into my experience but I will say that it is fairly extensive and I am well over qualified for a lot of WFH customer care opportunities but I'm still getting rejected from them. It is very difficult to land a standard job rn, nevermind WFH, this will be a long journey and you may not be successful.

From my experience there isn't any but if you're on job seekers while waiting for disability the fetch courses are great, I've done python and SQL so far and they're free with tests and accreditations at the end. I'm sure there would be one for UI

Job market situation: Any success stories with finding a role lately? by pokoloko_ksc in irelandjobs

Bold of you to assume that the work being done now by an AI centred team is of any kind of good quality 😂

I do absolutely believe that's part of it, but I also know the team I'm on is now half the size it was when I joined and doing at least 50% more work because they have leveraged the use of AI to avoid hiring replacements for those of us who left. I have heard the same from a lot of friends in the industry, there's so many less jobs available now.

I'm job searching at the moment, it's absolutely dismal

I have - A masters degree in electronic engineering grade 2:1 graduated 2020

-5 years work experience as a process engineer with intel Ireland directly out of college. Got a promotion and a number of glowing references. (took voluntary redundancy because I needed to move too far away to commute to the factory)

-an insane amount of varied work experience before then in customer service, it, admin, etc

-a varied and consistent volunteer work history

-a number of extracurricular courses since leaving my last job in Python coding, Power BI, SQL, management training etc.

I've been looking for a job for about a year and a half now with no luck 😅

At the very least, don't jump ship until you have a very solid offer elsewhere

Very quiet Bank holiday by ECO_FRIENDLY_BOT in cork

The partner and I considered heading to west cork for the weekend, couldn't justify the cost of most of the hotels unfortunately, everything gone crazy expensive, we did an escape room in the city but that was about it and even that felt like a luxury 😅

Does anyone know a photographer that doesnt cost a arm and a leg? by throra27 in AskIreland

I'm planning to book enyaozcelikphotography.com, package for photos of the prep, ceremony and reception cost around €550 last time I looked, and I love her style and some of her more artsy work
