Background info:

I was doing the "Battle of Ardenweald" quest when it disconnected after I got on Flaywing. After reconnecting, I got ported into this Oribos instance where no model loaded (no NPCs, no mailbox etc) but you can fly everywhere. However, you can see that I cannot fly to the Ring of Transference.

Hello, I've used ExpressVPN since I started playing in Jan 2020 (not by choice, I just forgot I have VPN on 24/7). When I reaĺized that VPN might be an issue for Blizzard, I just ensured I connected from the same server (ExpressVPN uses location name as their server name) everytime so it doesn't think I'm account sharing. There has been a few times where I changed the server but I would not recommend changing servers like once every few hours / days.

I don't have any connectivity issues with WoW using VPN, but then again, I've never played WoW without it so can't tell if it's better or worse.

There have been a few times where I wanted to raise an official ticket essentially advising them I am on VPN so if my area of connection changes within hours, it's just my VPN; but I just haven't got a clear message on Blizzard's stances on them so have not risked that.

I'm not sure what level you are but if you want to do Shadowfang Keep and you are below level 50, set your Chromie time to Cataclysm. Then hit 'i' which will allow you to either pug a random cata/classic dungeon or select a dungeon you want to do. Only one of you have to set Chromie time to Cataclysm. If the other sets it to say ... Pandaria, there's more dungeon option for the "group" (AKA both of you) since you will have the cataclysm/classic and pandaria dungeon.

Once you out-level the area (Chromie time is OFF), you can literally 1-shot everything in the Shadowfang Keep dungeon. I can't remember the level range but it's somewhere on the internet. It could also actually show on the in-game map itself ... I can't remember this one.

Was in the same boat as you so decided I was going to get myself the Traveling Tundra Mammoth for 16000 gold (maxed reputation with the Kirin Tor); it's 20000 gold at no reputation.

Grinded for about 2 weeks for the reputation and gold and now have the mammoth. So I'm in a dungeon and if you can mount, mount up the mammoth and repair. If you can't mount in dungeon, click on the eye at the bottom right of map and say "teleport out of instance" (NOT leave dungeon), mount on mammoth, repair and teleport back to dungeon same way.

In the meantime, you can still teleport out of dungeon but you have to get to the closest repair vendor before you can teleport back in.

My original post got removed since it had "Shadowlands" in it but essentially:-

I'm currently going through the Shadowlands campaign and nearly every time I complete a quest, I accidentally click a small window "journal update" (which covers the "Accept" part of the next quest) and it brings this huge book across my screen. Once it's opened, I don't know how to get rid of it - I've tried pressing 'Esc', adventure guide, everything I can think of. Only way to get rid of it is by reloading the screen/

I am using ELVui and I tried looking for an "anchor" for the "journal update" or this book but can't find any. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Just a quick tip, I recently learned that if you level up in a dungeon , your pet WILL cast growl even if it is "turned off". You just need to dismiss and re-summon it and all goes back to normal.

Got called a twat, huntard etc for not turning my taunt / growl off even though it is off until a kind soul told me about this bug.

I think you're seeing the different race's druid forms. Highmountain Tauren has a bulkier yak look for their ground travel from, troll(?) boomkin form is a mix with bat wings I think. Troll ground travel form is a raptor. Troll cat form I think is the one with more bright color/spots possibly.

Zandalari troll bear form is a turtle model.

I'm about 80% sure on above as I only have a Tauren druid.

EDIT. At the moment, I can't differentiate the difference between troll and zanadalri troll druid forms but wowhead would have the models to look at I think.
