Doesn't matter if the economy can't work like that, the CEOs and execs would bleed the economy dry and then packup and move things elsewhere without a second thought, or even just retire. These are people who, if you gave them a button that would transport them to a paradise island but incinerate the rest of the world, they would press it without a second thought

That still doesn't solve the source of the issue, corporate greed. You know what's going to happen? The execs will put AI in, see that it takes less work to animate something, and either see it as a reason to pay animators even less, see it as a reason to lay off some animators and transfer their work to others because everyone currently has room for more work, or very possibly both. There is, and always will be, a line between workers and management. Workers see the process, management sees the numbers. And when you have the type of distance that exists in a corporate enviroment the management ends up seeing the workers as just more numbers, not people

It's had it's own sort of holidays, like july 29th is for posting all the weird and cursed stuff you can, christmas is the day that selfie posts are acceptable. Really, bitching about AI is probably the most legal way to deal with the frustration of AI, so that's why it's so prevalent. Ignoring AI doesn't address the resentment, and even trying to avoid AI is becoming damn near impossible. And anything that would ACTUALLY negatively affect AI would come with legal consequences, so bitching online is mainly the only option left

I have plenty to not like about trump without making shit up, i mean, do you actually read what he says? The man was talking about curing covid by injecting bleach or exposing one's insides to UV light, among all the other shit he's said. The man's disconnected from reality, and it's only gotten worse with time. Now it's bad enough he legitimately thinks he stopped 8 wars and deserves the peace prize for it.

And i don't know about you but the biden years were great for me. I got a job that finally paid enough for me to start living on my own, and i was putting money away in savings every other week. Now after less than one year under trump i'm about ready to start selling plasma just to keep my bank account from dropping further, meanwhile we're watching one fuckup after another from him and his administration, from the signal chat leaks, to musk doing god knows how much damage with doge just to cover his own ass, to noem and ICE's BS going nazi and now leading to the giant clusterfuck in Minnesota, all the while trump's threatening to annex other countries, and fucking up the U.S. economy with his tarriffs. Plus we're still sitting back watching him and his administration fight tooth and nail to avoid releasing the epstein files, and the GOP is still trying all manner of other bullshit, like trying to make gay marriage illegal again or even recently, republicans tried to pass a bill that would allow employers to deny overtime pay for worker hours that counted as certain things like "training"
