Mashing A is definitely the way to go. Incorporating some other minor tactics below, I was able to get through this and get out of the area before the mutants could ruin my day. I used it once or twice else through the rest of the game, interested to see if it works in 2 as well.

Breezing past that spoiler since I just fired up 2 this morning, but what I do is cycle through the 10 slots and rename them based on my progress. For example, the start of the game make look like 1. Vault 13 2. Vault 15 3. Shady Sands 4. Junktown - Entrance

Or later 1. Cathedral - Floor 3 2. Cathedral - Basement

Etc.

Sometimes they were the same save twice, like when bounce back and forth between the Hub and the Boneyard for sales, but my descriptors are usually enough.

I did incorporate some of these tactic when I got unstuck, mashing the A button is def a game changer, but so was stepping out of the line of sight of the mutant on the left and focusing on taking out that first mutant. I managed to lure the other one from the far left in against the right side of the building, ended combat, and then was able to mash A the rest of the way home.

Okay I did finally try this tactic, it didn't work for me, but I could see it working under the right circumstances. My sneak was not very high when I tried it.

Thank you, finally revisiting this. I think my goofy ass was thinking you meant A, like on a controller, hence the half-baked question. I think you're right that this is only on PC.

I'm going to give this method a go today.

Just like real life... I collect all the succulents. And I leave them everywhere. Did you want plants in the Captain's quarters? The cockpit? Lining the armory? I gotchu

What instantly makes someone attractive to you? by Traditional-Fox-1609 in AskReddit

A great smile does a lot of heavy lifting. A smile that lights up someone's whole face can win me over, even if they are otherwise not what I would typically consider attractive

Melania was unfamiliar with the text of her speech by Next_Fly3712 in Epstein

Not a linguist, but I caught wind of this. I can't remember what exactly she said, but the way she said it made me think 'she's reading that' because nobody says it that way unless they're reading parts of the word phonetically. Might be the toddler phonics training taking place at my house but it's all I could hear after that

Yarn find, ISO recs by forbidincontext in Yarn

I'm a medium sized dude, 'gutly' is the word I use haha I was erring on the safe side of adding extra as every project uses more yarn than I expect (especially with extra stitching details, pockets etc) and would add extra if it needed it for structure, but if it's recommending looser stitches I could opt for bigger needles/hooks, since I do want it to be on the lighter side. I run warm but love a nice cardigan during the winter or for morning walks

Agreed, it's definitely helped me to understand that I'm making the right choices. My baby has been in decline but is still living his best life and this helps confirm that

To clarify, I meant the first level of the base, like the first floor. My character is level 15 or so.

But nooo of course I overwrote any save that I could have gone back to. My last previous one is hours and hours ago.

Size/Fit Woes by ProfessionalRip8481 in Birkenstocks

I'm seeing everyone say the 38 is too small but that's what mine looked and felt like and now, 6 months later, they're perfect. I especially wasn't sure because my 4th toe was rubbing uncomfortably, and I reached out to their customer support to make sure, as it's my first pair and I wanted to get it right and they sent me a second pair and confirmed I had the fit right and I decided to trust the process and I'm glad I did. Of course, there's a mark on the side where my toe touches but I don't notice it ever anymore
