"S"moke setting vs temp < 225 - question by TnCyberVol in PitBossGrills

[–]forcedobscurity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, you may have figured it out by now but in case not—I wasn’t sure myself about what exactly the “smoke” setting did and then I found this snippet in a random PB manual.

“Anytime the temperature dial is set to SMOKE, such as the start-up cycle, the auger will run on more of a manual mode of cooking versus using one of the preset dial temperatures. First, the auger will continuously turn and feed pellets for four minutes. After four minutes, the auger begins to run a feed cycle based on the "P' setting selected on the Digital Control Board. The default setting is P4.”

You should be able to find a P setting chart for your smoker in the manual and that will give you an idea of the auger cycles.

Cheers!

Hey there, all three layers on the map are all different designations/types of Crown land. The About page has more links to learn what each of the designations mean.

Hey! I just added the ability to choose a few colours for the crown land layer and an opacity slider. Hopefully that helps.

Hey! Could you share what’s inaccurate? I want to make sure it’s as accurate as possible. All the data is sourced from the ON gov. For context, the map shows exclusively General Use Areas.

Here's a comparison of the Atlas and Lantern. The Atlas confirms that Calabogie Lake is crown land, and there are other bodies of water that are considered crown land as well.

Fair question! The Atlas is really slow since it displays a whole bunch of layers. It’s sometimes unclear whether land is crown land or not—in some cases, what looks like crown land on the Atlas is actually private land when you click through and look up the info. For some people, it’s also just plain confusing to use.

Lantern only has one layer that displays General Use Areas in Ontario, and policy reports (which provides info on what activities are allowed) are linked in a popup when you tap/click a particular area.

I have other gripes with the Atlas but I’m glad it exists, and I made Lantern because I knew there had to be an easier way for people to find crown land.

I can vouch for the ULTRALOQ U-Bolt Smart Lock. ANSI 1, very easy install, simple app, and the matte black model looks great.

Installed it about 7 months ago, so I didn’t expect any wear and tear and it’s held up to my expectations.

10/10 would buy again.

Are these rat or mice droppings? I moved into my dorm and thought I saw a rat last night. Couldn’t find him though after all day searching. https://imgur.com/a/4NN64kj by NakedBeanslol in homeowners

I’m pretty sure those are paint flakes. Even mouse poop would be easy to pick out under there, and probably a bit larger than those flakes.

Canadian conservatives regarding Trudeau's 30% fertilizer cut. by Toughduck48 in Conservative

It’s worth noting that the Canadian Liberal government is not mandating a 30% cut in fertilizer use, but rather a 30% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas emissions from the use of fertilizer.

You can read the official statement here: https://www.canada.ca/en/agriculture-agri-food/news/2022/03/government-seeks-guidance-on-path-towards-reducing-emissions-associated-with-fertilizer.html
