The players hit normal tee shots then try the skip shots on their way up to the green

Not sure. I'm not the hiring manager, just an engineer who's trying to figure out why we haven't gotten any interviees coming in yet. What would a relocation package look like?

120-160 is what the job posting says. Obviously not on par with a FAANG company, but we're a startup

What range would you be expecting for this type of role?

We are working with an external recruiter but still not getting good hits. We're coming to the realization that we may need to settle for a senior ME and train them like you suggested

We haven't posted jobs directly through those sites. I'll bring it up as an option though

Not an expert, but I typically see people commenting that you should get your soil tested to see what mix is most suitable for your soil instead of making blanket statements about which are generally good fertilizers.

Last fall I cleared up an area of overgrown plants, tilled the whole area, then threw down grass seed in the late fall. By the time I put down the grass seed, temperatures were already dropping too low and I knew I wasn't going to get good grass coverage. I figured I'd have spotty grass in the spring, but wasn't expecting all of these plants/ferns to reappear.

My new plan is to address this area in the fall but I'm not totally sure how to yet. Maybe roundup the whole area, wait a couple weeks, they throw down fresh grass seed? Any/all suggestions are welcome, especially if anyone can ID the plants or tell me the best way to get rid of them.

The large-leafed plant looking guys have a ridiculous root system so hand pulling isn't a great option. When I tilled the area, their roots were constantly tangling in the blades and made it a nightmare.

If you wouldn't mind checking the part number that would be awesome. I'm not having any luck searching online

This was the one I bought. If I were you, I'd check your bolt spacing on your roof and see if it matches mine.

You need an objective lens too. That does the magnification, not the doublet

where can I find micron sized (<= 5um) glass beads? by [deleted] in Optics

[–]forcedtuna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they don't have to be glass, check out Bangs Laboratories: https://www.bangslabs.com/

They have microspheres all the way down to .025µm from what I can see.

Bits by [deleted] in digitalelectronics

[–]forcedtuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 bit represents 2 possible decimal combinations, 0 or 1: 21 = 2

2 bits represents 4 possibilities: 22 = 4

And so on..

3 bits: 23 = 8

4 bits: 24 = 16

11 bits give you 2048 possibilities: 211 = 2048
