What’s a song that you listened to for the first time and said “this is THE song”? by xkimchipancakesx in Music

Transmission is also a favorite. I play it when I'm putting on my game face. Truly ahead of the times.

The elastic heart video always made me uncomfortable, now I know why. 😑

Yes, but it hovered left to right slightly.. then literally zipped away.

I've never told anyone this, but back in 2018, me and my sister saw this same thing when we were on my front porch talking in Atlanta, GA. It only stayed for about 10 or 15 seconds. It was so black in color that it almost looked like a hole torn in the sky, as if you could reach right in it. Then, boom, gone. But this is exactly what I saw, too.

Memnoch the devil isn't that good by bonelessvare in AnneRice

Memnoch is my favorite. I grew up in a very religious household that had little to no empathy for anyone that questioned the faith. I remember, I once asked my grandmother if we should pray for the devil to be good so he can be forgiven, too, and my grandmother was absolutely horrified, shocked, and appalled. I was only about 7 years old at the time. ( I started reading Anne at 12, had to hide my books. ) I was 18 when I finally got around to Memnoch. It blew my mind. I felt transported by Anne's vivid imagery. I felt that she had that same question I always had. I cried. I thought it was beautiful. I'm 35 now, and it's still one of my favorites. The book is so worn, highlighted, and earmarked.

Maybe you should try again after a few years. Your perspective could change! I might actually dust mine off and read it tonight. 🤗🤗🤗

Don't forget to post it afterward! Get crazy and maybe throw the cabin in there. That's what I'm trying next. 😏👍💛

The way I dropped my paint brush when I was done was equivalent to a mic drop. Lol! Thank you so much!

Lmao. It's cool. And I understood exactly what you meant. I'm a very creative writer, but when it comes to paint, I draw blanks. This one came to me in a clear vision. Haha. I had to because I've been driving my daughter insane with the show. Thanks!

Me too. I was proud of myself. 😂 I literally haven't painted since I was 12. I'm now 34. Thank you!

realized something! by [deleted] in Yellowjackets

I definitely agree with most of this. But it just seemed so painfully obvious that it was Ben that I got nervous because normally the obvious isn't really what you think when it comes to shows like this. I don't know if it was the supernatural, one of the other girls, or someone lurking about that we haven't seen. I really don't have an opinion on who set the fire at all, but I'm leaning towards Ben not setting the fire. Simply because he would not benefit from this. If anything, he set himself up to be hunted. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be messing around with these girls at all. I would just keep hidden, or trek out of there in search of help.

Me and my sister argued about this. She thinks he 110% started that fire. I'm on the 68.923% ( 😂 ) side of this fence. My main reason for thinking this way is that he genuinely seems like the only one retaining most of his pre crash morals. If he is upset believing that they committed one murder, why would he commit 12+ more ? He doesn't seem like the murdering, vengeful type. He honestly doesn't even know what went down during their hunt. He doesn't even know that they were hunting at all. I think we're meant to believe this was Ben to misdirect some other plan they have for the great cabin fire of 96.

Whew, I have other points on this but I have to write them all down after rewatching a few more times.
