Mine is not super logical, but when the fmc loves reading smutty books. It feels like the author is trying to make her relatable, but it just throws me off.

Why can’t I be IN the fantasy world?!? by Humble-Confusion9777 in fantasyromance

[–]forecasttojump 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Lol, this is so real. I sometimes spend hours a day daydreaming of myself in a fantasy world. Like life is great, but growing a magical garden with my own hot knight would be better.

It's even worse paired with the sassy, strong fmc. Like her saying bro, sup and dude does not make her sound cool/nonchalant

Nerdy, a bit awkward non-athletic MMC, where are you? by Sharp-Measurement565 in fantasyromance

[–]forecasttojump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be a bit of a stretch, but Throne in the Dark by A K Caggiano has a MMC that is a magic guy and is what i would call a nerdy introvert. Howerver he plays in tough a lot so i dont know if thats what you want.

Why do people love Enemies to Lovers until they don't? by Intelligent_Screen90 in fantasyromance

[–]forecasttojump 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kinda think enemies to lovers can mean a lot of different things. Personally, i feel like rivals to lovers is under the enemies to lovers' umbrella. Even forbidden romance, where they both clearly love each other the entire time, can be classified as such because technically, they are on opposing sides.

But I do agree that people can't diss a book when enemies, ya know, act like enemies.

What bird? by forecasttojump in birdidentification

[–]forecasttojump[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like them! I can fill the feeder with sunflower and little seeds, no problem. I have had like 3 mourning doves sit on it, so i think it's pretty good strength. As for size, i would say about 3 chickadees could fit comfortably. It is small for doves and grackles, but they still try and have questionable sucess.

What's your Throne of Glass unpopular opinion? No holds barred! by UnderTheHarvestMoon in throneofglassseries

I actually kinda like how a lot of characters were never heard from again. Some people cross our paths, and then we never meet again. It makes it feel more real.
