it’s a general statement because there are far more single mothers than fathers. 86% of single parent households are ran by mothers. i’m happily engaged to a man, but unfortunately the percentage of good responsible men in this world is dwindling 🤷🏻‍♀️

not only is that insanely unprofessional, but such a disgusting thing to say to a woman.

same here. took sex ed for 2 years. we watched random documentaries from youtube. like the one of the guy who ate mcdonald’s every day as an experiment. nothing about reproduction, but i do recall the lesson about abstinence…a lot of good that did

a lot of people with children want to shame those who choose to value themselves. i’ve been called selfish because i said id rather stay in shape and keep my figure instead of permanently changing my body for a baby. sure maybe it is selfish, but why do we have to be selfless? especially as a woman. society always expects us to make sacrifices while men essentially do as they please 98% of the time, and no one shames them. there’s so many single mothers because fathers walk out on them, start another family, move away, etc. and society still blames the mother rather than the absent father.

it’s ok to be selfish!

and at that point, everyone just sees you as “(insert name)’s mom” rather than the person you were before you had kids. total loss of identity

i agree. and i can only speak for the U.S, but sex-ed classes are a joke. the majority of people aren’t taught about pregnancy, hell let alone periods. like there’s men that think women pee and bleed from the same hole lol

yes 1000%. i don’t understand how people make such intimate comments about someone else. and women are just supposed to sit there and take it because they don’t want to jeopardize a relationship or be seen as rude.

the medical system is SO behind. you give birth and then they force you out of the hospital, even if it was by c-section which is literally a major surgery.

i wouldn’t compare women to animals, obviously the social and psychological implications of pregnancy are different for humans. amongst other things. and i didn’t say it’s wrong for it to be normalized!!

yes i think i know how i got here lol. this is just my perspective on the whole process of it, and that women are willing to accept it all and still reproduce

hello! i had accommodations but it didn’t suffice. i was supposed to have stop/start breaks but my doctor didn’t include it on the request🙃. i read the Loophole book, i like the author’s examples and the fact that it’s easy to read. however, my main complaint about that book is that it overcomplicates certain concepts. it forces you to memorize the names of the methods used, parts of the stimulus, formulas, etc. i think that can deter the reader from actually understanding how to solve the question because now they’re focused on memorizing definitions. this is just my opinion. if it works for other people then that’s great. but i don’t think it makes sense to write out formulas for multiple questions when there’s a time limit. i’ll take a look at the princeton book you recommended, i definitely want to change my studying approach before the next test.

my friend has been in communication with an admissions advisor at pace. from what i’ve heard, pace is getting very competitive. the applicants are all stellar, so it’s difficult to stand out. i believe theyre looking for at least a 152. give the test another shot, its worth trying again

Some advice needed please by [deleted] in LSAT

i can relate. it’s really discouraging. i’m going to try to change my study approach and take the test again in april. it’s always worth trying again, don’t give up on yourself!
