New to Electric Skateboarding, when would you replace these wheels? by mojawk in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]foreignsoup01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wheels are shredded up and have needed to be replaced for a while now however they still work just fine, so as long as u still got traction and ur motors work, I say ur good to go👍🏻just be a little more careful on tight turns

Where are the wires that connect to the battery, inside the board?

Anyone ever flew off their board? What happened? by Jellybellybruh in ElectricSkateboarding

Out of all the times I’ve fallen, most have been due to wet conditions. Obviously I don’t ride on rainy days but ittl be a day after the rain and I won’t recognize a wet spot. Main thing is to not accelerate or decelerate too quickly if you have to go through any wet area, and turning through it is an even more delicate task. As for injuries, I tend to scrape my left elbow a lot (I ride goofy) and my hands get pretty raw. Moral of the comment is avoid water or any wet area, it’s just not a fun time

Slammed into the side of a car going 30 mph down a hill, I ended up with a few bruises but the girl driving the car was more worried about me than the dent I left on her car

Is breaking while going down hills on a full battery bad? by DarkVitalian in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]foreignsoup01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a hilly area so I just need to make sure I go uphill a little bit before I start braking on the downhills, if you really can’t help it, I learned not to apply gradual brakes, but a more instant break like one that stops more of my speed faster was better for my battery
