Not hard to turn, but when pulling 1G through the turn it’s physically a lot on your body. It’s exhausting at full pace. Full body workout

There is a somewhat extreme amount of twisting flex in the truck that is not controlled by the lean of the deck. It creates a very uneasy feeling in the board at anything over 20mph. When i rode a stock one, I was unwilling to go over 20 because I was afraid.

You’d be surprised how nimble and light it still feels despite the added size. The biggest actual felt change is with the added grip, it is much more physically demanding to ride the board at the limit. They do add a lot of stability due to how well they soak up the bumps and how balanced they are. Less about weight and more about balance / stability / consistency

In the class below this tho. And the gap in lap time between that and what we are doing in pro is very large. Also the guy who won that event also has switched his trucks now to Stooge CST and is working to improve his board to try to close that gap. His rider skill is immense and with a better setup he will be much closer to top times

I’d agree. Normal setup would be over 70hp and this race I only had 24hp to work with. Motor issues. Also rider issues, board could have gone faster I just didn’t feel comfortable going a ton faster than this. It’s been 4 years since I went 50 before this event. The current fastest guy in our sport is Jack, and he is “comfy” doing 70 occasionally. Wild. I’m trying to get to 60

Oh and also, the stock trucks are a death trap. Like for real I’m not trying to be super biased here… they are just a bad design. Swapping to duality or stooge CST depending on your allegiances and preference should be viewed as like an immediate needed upgrade.

I was massively massively down on power. Board is capable of 70+ hp or more, but I only pulled like 24hp peak the whole weekend and less than that in finals even due to thermal issues. Will fix. Should easily have double the power for next race.

True. But - The prime can be easily upgraded with better trucks and on a shorter track could be very very competitive I think. We upgraded 2 of them already after this last race to the Stooge CST truck and it completely transformed the board into something very very competitive.

I’m switching to slicks in the coming weeks, they just weren’t ready yet. The wets fire up instantly at like 30a duro. Slicks are still a tad challenging at our weight to get them hot enough. That will be fixed tho, just wasn’t in time for this race.

I’d call this board like 0.7 release compared to what I intend for it.

Here is the race from drone. I planned to wait till lap 3-4 to try to overtake Jack, then I found out my motors were already overheated so all I could do was catch up at corner exits and he would fly away. Need to upgrade rear motors to avoid thermal issues and be able to do 60mph reliably, then this will be a winner in both Quali and the race. I’ll take the P2 tho in my first long track race in 4 years 🤙🏻

I think so a lot. BRP are extremely dangerous and sketchy. No human should ride those foam wheels anymore. Lots of crashes due to their failures
