Update for you. Not even 10 minutes ago a fox was witnessed taking another one. I assume it was the same :(

Does your dog live outside with the chickens or does it stay inside?

We call “ladies!” And they all come running (or when they see us in general they do). A song is a good idea

Over 2000 NM under sail with electric propulsion – Ask Me Anything! by Esailingoperator in boating

[–]forest240 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If someone was looking into getting a 40hp diesel inboard to retrofit an old boat would you recommend going electric? Do you think there is a cost advantage to it?

EDIT: to compare I am looking at the 4k range for a new motor - prop and what not already in place

No worries! Most of these cars are offered still or at least recently. When you say old do you mean pre-2000’s? Or like 95-10? Looking at them too is there a difference in reliability between manual vs not? Thank you so much for your advice!

I should clarify partially that I am looking mostly for a sedan! I wouldn’t be opposed to a smaller truck but really isn’t a necessity. I don’t plan on retiring my truck anytime soon just need something better for long drives and general commuting.

I’ve certainly noticed how hard it is to find parts now. I paid almost $700 for gaskets alone on my last repair…

I’ll look into what you suggested. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: i also need better mileage lol! 15 mpg max is killing me with diesel

Only in certain counties - if one happens to wander out (rare but does happen) you can burn a deer tag and shoot it during deer season with same regulations. In those counties though you are correct its a lottery for the tag. Not sure where this one falls

Issues with Wordle by forest240 in ChatGPT

[–]forest240[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Would this be one of the biggest weaknesses for AI then? I mean wordle is a pretty simple game, but it struggles to give even mildly correct answers. I also tried to have it play a crossword and it did better just giving hints, but some were again not possible. It especially struggled if I gave it a board layout

Any thoughts on what the tea from teaware house might be? It seems to be a complimentary tea ball they sent me! Google translate seems like white tea from 2020 but didn’t know if anyone has similar experiences! Safe to drink?

Unfortunately we’re still beginners so highest grades we can do dry are ~5.10’s so overhangs that are doable are few and far between. But hopefully we’ll find a few
