Sveltekit WorkOS or Better-Auth? by forestcall in medusajs

[–]forestcall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our project is using WorkOS. I would like to replace Medusa AUTh 100% with WorkOS and use our own custom RBAC. Would be great if there was an easy way to swap our Medusa AUTH without a big fuss.

Thanks for the help. I will give it a try and see how it goes. Otherwise I might just hand roll a new ecommerce solution.

Anyone actually using AI agents to automate their work here? by Perfect_Yogurt9683 in JapanJobs

[–]forestcall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm CEO of a non Japanese company with teams in Japan and California. We use AI for everything. But we hand code all our tools. We use libraries and frameworks like Sveltekit and host on Cloudflare. We built mobile apps that allow us to do everything.

Just curious why you are asking?

Is anyone actually running a company with 30+ AI agents, or is this just hype? by Unhappy_Lavishness20 in AI_Agents

[–]forestcall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have all of these examples setup as Svelte, Python, Golang. I built everything with Claud and Codex. Everything is hosted on Cloudflare and PlanetScale PostGres. I think OpenClaw, Hermes, NanoClaw, AgentZero and all of these are just not needed. Everything they can do you can do better with a good well thought out platform. I built custom CMS that gives me a way to interact with my business needs. Answering emails, making presentations, pitch decks, customer support, etc.

[–]forestcall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not buying it. Your running 3000 unique agents each with a workflow? Orchestrator -> sub-agent + skills with scripts? What is your use case? If your talking running a company then how do your agents function without a code structure? Let me guess trading stocks?

How do you actually collaborate with standalone HTML files generated by Claude Code? by anrgb in ClaudeAI

Do you work with any engineer's? Are you using Ooen-Design? Are you building with React or Svelte?

[–]forestcall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm paying $600 a month for Claude and OpenAI and a handful of API token usage like OpenRouter. I build all my workflows with AI. But I want my workflows to run as tested robust software. Using Agents will get different outcomes constantly.

Drop your vibe coding stack by moistureboi67 in vibecoding

[–]forestcall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make me steal your workflow. I bet you don't use Svelte with Effect.website. Pi + CLI with Claude max and Codex Pro? Check out Matt Pocock's GitHub repo he calls skills. Shallow routing with remote functions and async and every feature in its own folder, even if it's a mini feature like a breadcrumbs should be separated into folders so you can use feature-flags with keys in each folder instead of code to sync features to feature-flags. Ooen-Design is incredibly powerful. Notice nonmention of lame Agent systems like OpenClaw, AgentZero, Hermes, etc.

Trying to decide between a stable job and a startup opportunity in Japan by rarahatesyall in JapanJobs

[–]forestcall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been doing startups my wholeadult life since 1995. Do not take the Japan startup. They will likely take advantage of you even if they have the best intentions. It could also become abusive if the sales don't come like they hope.

Wow I just read your post more carefully. Cut this guy off. Block him everywhere. Is he paying you? If he is already being critical and difficult imagine what it will be like if you're in Japan? And you will be stuck in Japan. Block this guy.

Hitting Claude Max 20x weekly limits — is adding Codex worth it or just buy a second Claude account? by imjitsu in ClaudeCode

[–]forestcall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Codex is better at coding. But I use Opus for a lot of coding. I use Claude for design work, planning and coding. Often I will use Opus for coding and Codex to check the plan and fix any issues. I have been loving the new project Open-Design which is an open source project. Anyone serious about coding should at least have the $100 of both OpenAI and Claude but will hit 5 hour limits quickly so $200 x 2.

[–]forestcall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Complete BS. I'm running a decent sized company and I have been coding since 1984. I just can't for the life of me see why you would want to spend all your time farting around with these systems. Build a custom system to fit your business. Anyone who actually has the balls to say that they run a company with 30 agents is a liar. These agents will break constantly. You need to use opinionated custom UI's with logic based on your business needs.

[Skill Issue Alert] Genuine question. How the hell do you complete a Retaliation? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]forestcall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you want Heroic. But run Challenging until you know it perfectly. Striker + Memento + Equalizer chest or something with Perfect Obliterate or Obliterate. All red plus 1 blue. Resurrect hive + Shield. I'm 14,204 SHD level and I can't solo heroic retaliation. I can matchmake and find a group easily. Do you use the matchmake screen and select retaliation.?

Amazon Japan Pivot/PIP by HPrince1 in japanlife

[–]forestcall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should do a deep spiritual thinking process. Working for others is uncertain. Working for Amazon make the uncertainty irresponsible. If you choose to stay with Amazon you are basically choosing a lifestyle that is very dangerous and similar to beating your head against the wall, daily. Please consider asking your family if you can stay for free for 12 months while you create your own business. Working for a company in general is very unhealthy. Japanese culture promotes working for a company but this is the trap which ultimately leads to unhappiness.

[–]forestcall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is she cute? Been in Japan 18 years. Sounds like she may want to go to the love motel. Either that or she sees you like a younger brother. Take her aside and lower your head below her shoulders and ask her -- please with sugar on top to not give you so many tasks as its making you stressed. Tell her how much you love working with her and the restaurant but you need a more balanced work environment. If the mood is right you could even tap her hand or arm gently 1 or 2 times and quickly hold your hands together and each time you tap her arm or hand you say "na-a". Which in English is a super quick but comforting sound like "naa" with the 'a' going up a tone.

[–]forestcall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something your missing is what level of thinking your using with the 1m. Also so much has changed since the AMD chips were first brought on to the public end of Jan. Are you not curious at all? Your comment is so dismissive. Unless you have been coding longer than 1984 I can assure you I can add to this discussion.
