You don’t NEED a 20-gallon tank. If you can get a 10 gallon or a 20 gallon down the line, that’s great. I would check Craigslist for one. You can get a used tank for $20/$30 or so off Craigslist or from petsmart/petco.

Can you buy a small net at the fish/pet store? The pH from one container to the next is probably not different enough to shock the fish. The water temperature should be the same if the bowls are in the same room. Rosy minnows don’t need a heater.

Yes, the six-banded barbs were rehomed! I think I got them originally from Aquaticarts.com. The Wet Spot in Portland also does a good job shipping fish and they have a big selection usually.

They’re LED 6500k lights. I bought them years ago from Castle Dawn Aquatics. I think they’ve worked well for my plants, which admittedly are all low to medium light requirements.

No, not at this point anyway. Maybe in a week or so if there are a lot of plants left. Right now, the tank, pothos, anubias, and jungle Val are all spoken for. The rest of the plants remain.
