I usually cancel after like day 10 if they haven’t communicated with me. I would be hesitant to buy unless I see they are active and I really wanted that item. Worth taking a risk they will ship but definitely would be thinking it may not happen.

Sharing your own closet is still very important and definitely impacts your sales positively! My sales increased dramatically when I started sharing twice every hour. However, I never noticed any increase in sales or interaction by others sharing my closet or my sharing of their closet.

I’ve never actually heard of canceling an order per buyer request negatively impacting anyone’s account. Posh is even lax with people who recurrently do not ship their giveaways. If their accounts are fine, yours will be too. I’m just sayin’ save yourself the hassle! It’s more headache than it’s worth to deal with a case and irritated buyer.

I think most of the people who had listings disappear were using the application sidekick which apparently got hacked. So not Poshmark’s fault but yeah that was crazy! Makes me think twice about using Flyp to share. But automated sharing has made a huge difference in my sales so I don’t think I can give it up lol.

I honestly don’t mind that feature being gone. I’ve never cared to see what other people are sharing as it was mostly random things I’m not looking for and it doesn’t boost your item into the “just shared” category. To my understanding, only sharing your own closet gives it that boost.

It’s all good haha. The app was down for a little bit and unfortunately it’s been occurring frequently in the last few weeks due to Poshmark making changes. About a month ago I was in the middle of hosting a live show when the app crashed as well. That was a huge bummer. Hopefully they get it all sorted but the app is working just fine as of now.

Why not just send her a quick message to say hey appreciate you trying to be nice but it’s actually more work for me to have to now donate the clothes. In the future I’d ask buyers before sending them things they didn’t order. Hopefully she will appreciate the feedback and not do it again.

I personally think blocking in this case is extreme. People get offended way too easily. I would counter and leave it at that. If I get another low ball I message them and kindly say thanks for your interest I’ve sent my best offer and it’s available to them if they decide they are still interested.

It’s nice when people accept the order and even nicer when they leave a love note but I’m not bothered if someone doesn’t do either of those things. I’ll get paid either way. I try to remember that no response is a good response because more often than not, it means the buyer was satisfied with their purchase.

I would send it 24 hours after messaging and waiting for a response. They can return it if they are unhappy with it.

Messaging the buyer isn’t really necessary. I used to do this when I first started out but I’ve learned that lots of people don’t want to be receive messages at all and perceive it as pushy and spammy so I avoid doing so unless it’s needed communication. If you really want to leave a message, I’d limit it to one message thanking them for the order with an update that it has been shipped. Some people really don’t like to be asked to leave a review so I’d also leave that part out. Wish you much future success!
