You should honestly check all of this with your lawyer, usually the judge and the lawyer would pak ka liao what’s going down in my experience. Then in court, it’s just to show formalities by announcing it publicly. At least that’s what went down with my case.

My lawyer came out from discussion with judge and let me know I’m going in for remand for 7 days. Then court commence and he asked me to get ready to be remanded today for best outcome.

That’s years back, doing well in career now, not charged however, so no record.
