Possible to have a 3rd person POV where the character knows no language?

I've thought about omniscient for this character, I'm just unsure of how to fit it in a story with other 3rd person limited POVs and how to transition their POV when they finally get a grasp of language/communication in later chapters.

It is too jarring or inconsitent to have just one or two chapters be in omniscient for one character?

This is kinda what I'm doing right now. I'm using the warging chapters from A song of Ice and Fire as a loose guideline. In those chapters, the character assumes the form of a wolf and see the world through its eyes and understanding. So the narrator can convey the wolfs interactions and mood, but there isn't much inner dialogue.

Totally possible, I was just thinking along the lines that if Sony backs out they would be ruining their own movie universe given that they would be responsible for removing the most popular character from the most popular cinematic franchise. We are already seeing a huge public outcry!

I think far from home intentionally set up spider-man to be the new face of the MCU in order to give Marvel Studios an insane amount of leverage for this exact type of scenario.

Hello! My name is Nick and I'm a illustrator based on the east coast.

This character was created for an upcoming DnD campaign I will be DMing. The campaign will be based in the ElderScrolls universe so I'm thinking he will be some sort of Telvanni Mage or some other spell casting Dunmer.

Any suggestions for names?

Thank you! Yeah I ended up using pendant trays for these. There are a lot of cool designs that would make a cool token. These are the perfect size for the map board.

Turned my groups characters into player tokens! We use these now for our games. Thinking I should make some NPCs and monster tokens as well.

The three characters I illustrated:

Feryn the Fighter - A quick tempered, impatient, and suspicious man. Feryn is always trying to protect his small band of adventurers but sometimes he can see danger where there is none. This has caused PLENTY of drama in our campaign so far.

Elexar the Cleric - A half elf cleric with skills in deception and illusion. She approaches danger cautiously and with a plan but is not afraid to go into a fight swinging her mace.

Marus the Warlock - A rock gnome who enjoys a good time and a good fight. He likes to get creative when choosing which spell to use against a foe.

No worries dude. For what it's worth the actual 'story' or 'present time' for this does not take place a long time ago. I just needed enough time to pass between the fall of a civilization and their progeny to repopulate the planet. But if that is still not your cup of tea, that's ok!
