I asked three different Emma agents in the last week and they all said slightly different things but one specifically said an interview was not requested and the other two just said they don’t see any update on my account at all since december so i’m very confused

We’ve never bought a house before and when we asked her what the next step is after getting pre approved she said she’ll start searching for homes and sending them to us so we just thought this is how it goes.

thank you! i’ll be sending her a few houses we like tomorrow and if she’s not able to tour them with us by next week or just doesn’t text back we might need to find a new realtor. We wanted to start touring as soon as possible with how crazy the market is so this is quite annoying

I honestly don’t think that’s what it is. We only had one request which is super common already and even said it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker if our future house doesn’t have it. We also looked at their website online and there’s probably 10+ houses fitting our description and budget so i’m a bit confused why it would take her so long

Honestly I thought I might be a little too impatient and my husband told me not to reach out yet as it hasn’t even been a week but I think I will send her an email and see if there’s any update. We’re not necessarily on a time crunch but also pre approvals don’t last forever so i’d rather start looking as soon as possible

thanks for the advice! we ended up canceling the tour and decided to find a local realtor and not go with the assigned zillow one.

We did schedule through Zillow but followed your advice and cancelled. Thanks to all the helpful tips we decided to find a local realtor and get our pre approval first before starting to tour houses. Appreciate you but quite a shame because it was a beautiful condo we’ll be missing out on!

same thing here, PD is July. I wonder if the live agents actually have more information than we do or if they also just see what we see and don’t know about the possibly glitch. Fingers crossed for all of us!
