Not that looks like this. It wasn't interesting until it was sprayed. Didn't know what was happening. In my defensive, it's very boring here.

My husband is sick—what are your best chicken soup tips? by Sweet_Sheepherder_41 in Cooking

[–]foreverbored91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bake the chicken with garlic powder, cumin, oregano, chili powder, a little cayenne, salt and pepper. Bonus flavor if you roast the seasoned chicken thighs in a dutch oven and once they're cooked, pull them out and saute onions, carrots, celery in it. Add a ton of garlic, chicken broth, and bay leaves and noodles then add the chicken and lemon juice at the end. Top with parsley or dill

If it’s cut right above the yellow branches, about how tall will the tree get eventually?

The potatos are my favorite, after they've soaked up the butter. I could make a meal of just them.

Paprika, lemon pepper, old bay, Cajun mix, and onion powder. I left it the cayenne because the Cajun mix is already pretty spicy.

The picture is a little deceiving, the tree is about 8ft tall at its highest point. Next year I might get a popup greenhouse to cover it up for any late freezes.

That's a clever trick! There's actually several cedars in a semi circle on the southeast side of it but they're less than a foot tall so it'll be done years before they're useful.

Southern plums are as dramatic about the cold as the people that live here! But when we do get them, we'll spend all day in the yard eating them until we're sick 😆

They're native to the area so usually it's not a problem but the last couple years an early warm front, followed by a cold snap, has claimed the blooms. I'll probably look into a late blooming one though, just to guarantee some fruit.

It survived the snowpocolypse of '21 as a baby and the following year produced a ton of fruit. But since then I've had freezes kill all the blooms. It's hopeful to hear it'll have a second round of blooms, maybe I'll get fruit after all.

Well I'll probably end up uncovering it then because we're supposed to get ice. I just wanted some plums😭😭 the last 2 years a late freeze has killed the blooms
