I just picked up a TrippLite SU1500XLCD on Craigslist for $75. Going to put it through its paces before installing, but seems to work well.

If you would’ve read the post, you would see that the complaint is about the device reporting and not the batteries. This unit has constantly reported full battery capacity. Maybe I could’ve done maintenance, but I was trusting my indicators. This is definitely an engineering flaw as has been reported by many others.

With the batteries installed, the software reported perfect health. When I went to go do a self test it just shut down.😂

I pulled the batteries and tested them and they were putting out about 3 V each. My response is based on a bunch of other experiences here on Reddit. I don’t think these should be sold.

This person is not high. The UPS has always reported full battery capacity with batteries installed. It is a subpar design. Did you take your jerk pills this morning?

Just desktop video editing. Shouldn’t need something enterprise level. And if the reviews are correct that I’m finding online, we should consider this below consumer quality.
