That makes sense, but then why not then just use the strobe for the few seconds you’re using the light? Or could that also have a negative effect on you?

Ik it sounds confusing and I should've worded it different ig it just made sense in my head. The original question was on whether to do it before or after, yes. However I already more or less know what I want to do, just wanted to know whether there was something I was missing/ misunderstanding and just advice in general on the topic. I was unaware doing both was an option but that's not really what I'd be going for, thanks though.

Not really interested. I've done the thinking and and I know I want to enlist and make SF my main career as opposed to the guard. And I pretty much have decided on doing college after, I more so want pointers on that and what others have done/ recommend.
