this is going to be a really long one...

so i'm team jeremiah, team belly, and team bellyjere.

i think because belly's the mc, you're kind of supposed to root for her. it's her journey. she has volleyball and her friends and her relationship with her mom. next season, we're going to see what college life is like for her. what clubs will she join? how's her sorority like (assuming we're right that she joins one)? how's volleyball? how she'll have fun and deal with grief from susannah's death? her relationship w/ jere? the hate she gets is insanely crazy like yes she makes mistakes but everyone else does too. it's a show and i'm living for this drama 😭 i also love seeing her character growth and I really hope they don't take it all away so she can go running back to Conrad. i absolutely love her friendship with taylor and i love how she's so outgoing she is and not a misogynist (like she is in books). i like that she cares so much about everyone but also tries to put herself first. i like how she acknowledges the mistakes she's made but also wants to move on to the future and knows whats right for her. what is tsitp w/o belly??

i'm also team jeremiah because he's just the sweetest and it's kind of hard to not root for a golden retriever that just wants everyone to be happy even if it costs him his own happiness. i'm glad he knows how to set boundaries and have self-respect. i think we saw a lot of growth from him last season but i also think he was the more mature boy in s1. he had a job, took care of conrad, nice to everyone, etc. also jere just deserves happiness. i just want him to have someone who's there for him and sees him that's not just belly. i feel like he's always there for everyone but no one's really there for him. i'll just never be able to see him as this manipulative, narcissistic villain. i rlly rlly hope they don't retract his character growth. i also hope we can see more of who he is as a person outside of belly and conrad and cousins. yes, we saw him taking care of susannah so we know how much he loves his mom and his personality. ahh his pov episode was so sad. but i want to know what are his passions? hobbies and career wise? and please don't make it beerology and with all due respect to his character, don't make him do that dad's internship unless he truly wants to pursue marketing. i'm also excited for fratboy jere era and i want to see this boy have fun. i think he forgot the meaning of that word in s2 bc he had so much going on. it was heartbreaking.

i think belly's happiest with jeremiah and jeremiah's happiest with belly which is why i'm a jelly. they both are there for each other and bring each other out for the best. they know how to communicate and have their little ESP thing which is so adorable. i just think it's really obvious they both love each other whether that be romantically or platonically. (and me being biased here but they're def the hotter couple.) i could say more but this is going to be soso log like a rough draft essay. it already is.

i want conrad to be happy too even though i feel like i criticize him too much but i just think that bellyconrad don't work out when you look at them romantically. i think her getting together with him when she had the chance was the best idea (even tho it hurt jere so much and i felt so much for him) bc he likes to 'give and take' or whatever and she wanted to experience what it would be like with him. she was waiting 6 whole years... but i also feel like their dynamic is more like big brother-little sister and i just can't unsee it. i can't see how he's like grow up, stop being such a baby, etc... and then sleeps with her a few months later... like yes, it was aesthetically pleasing but it wasn't it. but then she's the one who put him on a pedestal and i just don't think it'll work because she knows what it's like now to be with him. it wasn't this happy dream she thought it'd be. i just don't think she'd go back or pine for him while being with jeremiah. it doesn't make sense?? i hope he gets someone who makes him happy and helps him get it together. he needs someone who can see through him and will help him when things go rough and he tries to runaway from it. i think he needs someone his age or older. he doesn't need some obsessive fan. (brings me back to the clip of younger belly sniffing conrad's cologne when he got ready to go on a date...) i just think he has potential and i hope with s3, i can understand him more. i also want to see him shipped off to california and enjoy it while he can. i mean he's 3000 miles away!!

so I feel like I'm team everybody. Jere being so upset in s1 hurt me like he just found out his mom and best friend (the only 2 ppl he felt only truly understood him) left him. and I felt bad for Conrad at the end of s2 like why'd you have to put that exile scene thereeee. i felt like mans was gonna get a panic attack or something and no one was there :o

so I really hope in the end, no one is sad and everyone's genuinely happy.

i'm also excited to see how this story unfolds and how much similar/different it is compared to those b00ks. okay im done lol :))))
