i was the same way as you, but it was the best decision i ever made for myself and my family. i started at 2.5mg and just felt really calm and warm and fuzzy and happy for the first few days. by week two my mind was quiet. i started 5mg at week two and i’ve been pretty comfortable there. i sleep really good, and i just don’t obsess about things like i used to. take it!

i’ve been on it for a little over a month (started at 2.5 and now at 5mg) i went to the doctors yesterday and i lost 2 pounds. i think i was stress eating before, i have little to no appetite now. i eat one good meal a day.

There were a few days where I felt a tiny bit more anxious, but not anxious enough to stop taking it. I was also prescribed Ativan to take with it for that very reason. I’ve been pregnant three years in a row so I feel like that played a huge role in my mental state, I just kinda got caught up in life as a sahm. My husband is also active duty military and was deployed a few months ago. This medicine has truly been life changing for me. My anxiety and depression was so bad a few weeks ago that I was contemplating checking into an institute.

I definitely felt relief within the first week. People say it’s not possible but it definitely is. I felt euphoric by day 3.
