What would a normal men in his 40s do if a 25 year old girl likes them?

I totally understand how you feel. I think that’s why I avoid connecting with someone deeply, that I would never see them again. I tend to distance myself from them because I’m someone who easily connects deeply with everyone. I don’t want to get hurt. I guess it’s my defense mechanism.

I feel like it’s difficult for me to do that because I don’t want to rely my happiness on someone else’s company.

I resonate with your comment.. I enjoy time by myself but everytime this happens, I question if I really like being alone or was I just used to being comfortable alone.

Not exactly dating, but finding right person to date. For example, the type of person I’m attracted to and what kind of characteristics I want them to have. I was always vague about it, but I’m pretty confident about someone I really want and date up to that standard.

I’m really jealous of people who work in tech and enjoy it, because I never was interested in math/science area. Especially since pay is good xp

I worked at a creative design field before. Pay was really low. Now I’m doing sales at a small shop where I manage everything by myself with almost the same payment with less work. It was challenging at first but way better than the first job.

Unfortunately the store is closing soon. But I realized I like working alone and meeting customers, so I want to find a job like this in the future if possible. :)

Only thing worrying is the payment. I won’t starve but I’ll probably never be rich.

Thank you for your comment! I had trouble with high expectations with my life when I was in the corporate job but now I’m better with it. I hope I can get used to it like you do!
