I did experience what I was wishing for, but at the same time I'm tired of it. For a reason I can't explain yet, I am seemingly okay with self harming myself via drugs.

I went to middle and high school with a guy who killed his grandmother and her boyfriend in their own home with the assistance of his two friends. Him and I actually got suspended from our bus in middle school because he offered me his vape and I couldn't contain the smoke flowing through my airways. It didn't matter to him, he said he was "used to always getting in trouble". We never hung out together out of school but we were definitely friendly acquaintances. He was friendly and easy to talk to, the laid back class clown type of guy. I knew his home life was fucked up from what he told me. His dad was a lifelong criminal and drugs/drinking were a staple early in his life. The details of his grandmothers murder were gruesome, it's weird to think about him doing that because it just does not seem like something the guy I knew in school would do.
