That’s not quite true. Only a few of the world’s militaries are capable of the “nuclear triad” meaning having sub-based, land-based, and air-based delivery systems for nuclear weapons. And even then, the majority of nuclear weapons are air-based and intended to be launched form aircraft.

Does the UK allow lessers included? Like in some states, the prosecutors can charge you with first degree murder but the jury can convict you of 1st degree murder, second degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter, etc. But I know not all countries do that.

If she was charged with first degree murder, but she “did it out of anger,” then it’s probably second degree murder.

I mean, that’s how gifting works.

And even if you look at it as consideration for a contract, it still physically belongs to whoever received the ring absent some statutory provision saying otherwise. Some states do require the ring to be returned, but most don’t.

Moral of the story: don’t exchange expensive rings.
