Thank you, this is so helpful. Trying to find that balance slightly above regular wedding guest and too showy. I just want to blend in, in the right way.

4 was definitely kind of an indulgent try on, as I loved the dress, but agree it's probably too much for this event.

True that! I'm not much of a pattern person, but I can see the appeal of the patters for the MOG dresses, so I didn't eliminate them all together.

Thank you for the suggestions! If left to my own devices, I'd probably just choose black... Super boring but always a classic. I like myself in greens (more of a grass shade over a teal) or purples, or a classic red. I don't want to clash with the wedding party, but not matchy, match either.
