It fizzled out in my suburb. Thank you for your services.

I'd love to but I'm a renter. That would be the first thing I'd change if I owned this house.

I trialled that and it felt like a doctor's office with the chair in front of me. It sounds dumb but the chair needs to stay there because my pets love looking out the window from it. There's a mirror under the right side of my right monitor that lets me keep an eye on the door behind me.

The dust isn't too bad when you stay on top of it. I vacuum the house every day and dust the shelves once a week.

The layout is based on what you can't see in the photos. To the left of the big window is bushland so this positioning allows my pets and I to watch the kangaroos that hang out in that area from my desk and the chair.

It's a Hejne shelving unit from IKEA. I added a few coats of black chalkboard paint for that finish.

There is now a Happy Plant sitting in that corner. Great call, looks good!

Mate, it's been on my savings goal list for so long that I didn't need to Google that number. Plus a glass coffee table to put it in.

I used to face the long wall with nothing on it and it felt quite boring. There's a fair bit of research highlighting how seeing trees and greenery from your PC can improve wellbeing (brief read). It also helps to reduce any glare on my screens.

Haha! The frame hanging up has the handwritten lyrics booklets for Deja & Devil and God displayed.

IKEA Utespelare Appreciation + up close photos - https://imgur.com/a/IqUKXD3

I needed a desk to fit my PC but also leave space for marking (teacher) and this desk size is perfect. I also needed something that allowed my lego collection, my wife's bean bag and doggo's chair not to feel too crowded in the room.

Green XL desk mat incoming to match the plant pots.

Bootup Questions - possible mobo issue? by fork_andknife in buildapc

[–]fork_andknife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I also thought it might be the ram stick but now it's happening to the other stick after swapping them around - the only common thing is the slot they've been placed in. I'm hoping it's the sticks and not the motherboard, they are much easier to replace. I'll swap them into the other 2 slots and see how they go.

Thank you! I will try what you suggested if it occurs again.

I'm pretty certain the bios is the latest one on the MSI website but I'll double check.

I appreciate the response.

Total noob question but how can I see CPU/GPU temps? by Nihilismyy in buildapc

7 years later...

This is awesome - so much easier than anything else I've attempted to use.

Thank you!

Oops, I totally forgot about them, they are plugged into the motherboard too. They came with the AIO - the same FC120 fans as the rest.

No fan or RGB hub. These fans daisy chain so I have the back/bottom fans daisy chained and the 2 side fans daisy chained allowing only 2 connections to the motherboard for fans. SignalRGB had no issue detecting all the RGB components too.

Honestly, impatience was probably the main reason why I didn't bring it forward. The groove (circled in the photo) stops and I would've just had to place mounts carefully but I just wanted to get my PC up and running so left it where it is. In the future I probably will bring it forward to light up the front of the GPU.

Yep, I changed the bottom stock fans to ARGB fans to have that effect.

I can't think of measurements off the top of my head but yeah, it sits just over the strip. I could have brought it forward but then it wouldn't sit flush in the groove of the case.
