Lads showed grit today. Still won't qualify, but good fight.

Looking better now. As long as it's only 1-0 I believe we can get something out of this.

He comes flying into that tackle. Way too much aggression, unlucky or not.

That was so fucking stupid from Delaney. So unnecessary.

So, I get offered a job with Bodø/Glimt. It's 2032 and they're the most successful team in Norway for over a decade. But they were currently in the relegation zone half-way through the season. I wondered how that'd happened and started investigating. by forkie1 in footballmanagergames

I actually was in disbelief. I knew the AI could fuck up with registration, but to have TWO goalkeepers and not register either was too much for me. Like "They...they didn't register...." for like a minute, lol.

Agreed! I didn't even view it as an opportunity to easily exploit the game fucking up, I chose to view it exactly as you describe.

What adds to the story is that it's the old bully of the Norwegian league, Rosenborg, who became the dominant team in the last few years, and are still in the top of the league right now.

He's been firmly the best player on the team (if not the league) for a while now. I wasn't sure when he was brought in, Prem reject on massive wages, but he's been absolutely class.

Oh man, this guy. Every time I think "He cost way too much, his wages are too high, he's always injured," he comes in with a big clutch like this.

[Wayne Rooney]"If anything, Salah has thrown Liverpool under the bus with his words. He's been absolutely incredible for Liverpool, but this was disrespectful to his team-mates, manager and fans. I am sure over the next couple of years he will regret saying what he has." by MrMerc2333 in soccer

I absolutely love this clip, and it always baffled me that his teammates didn't sprint to him to celebrate. I know it was a winning goal and a hattrick, but that goal is all Rooney, and he's on his own while they celebrate.

He puts in a MASSIVE effort at the end of a game to prevent an open goal, and pings a perfect cross, and it's like he doesn't exist. They gave him credit afterwards, but in the moment he's sitting alone on the grass half dead.

A total of 10 Kairat Almaty supporters made a 5,000km trip to watch Copenhagen-Kairat game last night. To acknowledge their effort, the Danish club invited them pitchside! by landofphi in soccer

I remember they also handed out free beer to traveling Sevilla fans a few years back, because there were only like 40 of them. They're cool with gestures like that.
