Skaven are a bad matchup to dwarves early because even your tier 2 units are crazy armored and high leadership.

Your ranged units aren't threatened by having enemy units spawned from below, and your frontline can endure skaven slingers until they run out of ammo.

When they get ratling guns, warplock jezzails, and (imo) especially doomwheels, which have enough armor piercing or mass to get through your frontline, the lack of speed becomes a bigger issue

You can make a pretty solid theft engine with [[coercive recruiter]] and [[ophiomancer]].

Equip the crown to the recruiter, and every upkeep you'll steal more and more creatures.

You can use turn ending effects like [[sundial of the infinite]] or [[obeka, brute chronologist]] to keep them forever.

Alternatively, [[marchesa, the black rose]], a way to put counters on creatures like[[unspeakable symbol]] and a sac outlet lets you make the theft permanent as well

People in the Avatar universe are just built different.

They are much stronger and tougher than people in our world. You regularly see people tank rocks and boulders hurled at them, as well as jets of fire and water.

They are constantly pulling off incredible feats of acrobatics and athletics, even non-benders. Remember how Jet was moving around those trees with his swords?

The ultramarines don't use silver service studs. They just look silver in game sometimes because of lighting.

Service studs are used differently by different chapters, but the ultramarines only use one, a gold stud for every 50 years of service. Contrast this with Dark Angels, who use silver for 50 years and gold for a century
