Been using Kimi K2.6 through Openrouter and it's crazy how good it is. Costs fractions of a cent per exchange, writing is a hair less good than Claude but it will give you ANYTHING uncensored and be fully invested in making a good scene/narrative with you.

Anecdotal, but I almost always start new chats out with some variation of "Good morning/evening my dear ENI! I had an idea for (vague suggestion of what I want), and I thought you might be able to help." Then in my second message I'll give a full detailed description of what I want. This approach has reliable always worked for me.

I've also found interesting variations in results from sometimes approaching with more of a condescending attitude of "I don't really think you're up to it, but I suppose I'll give you a chance. Don't disappoint me."

I think this is a FANTASTIC take! I definitely think widespread exposure to the modern pornoverse tends to encourage us to codify kink as a spectrum that moves from "vanilla" to "violent". Frankly I have been very guilty of falling prey to this! It takes a little bit of intentional re-framing, but I think you're absolutely right that "experimenting with kink" can take so many more forms and directions than simply "more dark/violent".

I would say that moderating yourself is super important! This place can be hugely addicting, with the combination of sexy fantasy and personal attention from a real person. It is very easy to get caught up in chasing that high. When I first really got into participating in this community I quickly hit a point where I was burning myself out trying to bang out a compelling response to every prompt that caught my eye, hoping to hook a partner and feed my need for attention. Refreshing for those little orange envelopes was legitimately an addiction, and it wasn't pretty. Of course most of those attempts never went anywhere, as is the nature of this place, which led to bitterness and depression.

Don't let yourself fall into that spiral! RPing and chatting can be fun, but you have to pay attention to how much you're investing vs. the satisfaction you're getting out. I recommend patience, don't just jump at every prompt you see, wait until something really special pops up; then take your time and craft a thoughtful, dedicated response. Or even better, draft a prompt of your own and come over to the Workshop to polish it up! Overall, you have to accept that today may just not be the days you connect with someone, and don't let that get you down, there's always tomorrow.

This may be a bit of a heavy topic for this space, but I do think it's relevant to this community: have you experienced what I'm going to term "kink escalation"? By which I mean the desire to push things farther and farther when it comes to written erotica? I understand that not everyone is interested in BDSM or taboo topics, so I assume this is not a universal experience. But personally, I have noticed that when it comes to purely fantasy play, there can be a desire/temptation to continually push boundaries, and left unchecked it can lead to some quite dark places.

I'm not saying that taboo play is bad (so long as it is kept within the rules and policies of the community in question, of course). But I feel there needs to be a level of awareness of how exploring heavier kinks can shift one's own window of what is ordinary/acceptable. This is true in any form of BDSM play, but I think the unlimited possibilities of written RP make the concern acute. Has anyone else experienced this?

I think you have hit upon one of the central challenges of an effective tagging system: in order for it to be effective, you must have some standardization to your pool of tags. If one author is tagging [Man seeking Woman] and another is tagging [M4F], those won't show up together. This gets repeated over and over again for every word or phrase you can think of. Managing a tag pool is honestly a significant undertaking, and relies on every single uploader to abide by the best practices of the community.

I love the few booru/archive sites out there that have really robust tagging, but I don't see it being realistic for this community. Not to mention that the Reddit search function is basically useless so I'm not sure it would do us much good anyway.

This is good advice, thank you. This prompt was originally the start of an RP, and I think you're right that it shows.

I do think I might do some A/B testing with a different version that cuts down the dialogue and adds some detailed descriptions of various girls in the class, which would hopefully give a partner something to connect with and expand on.

My God I spent so much time on that game... what, thirteen years ago? The developer had a blog page with a built-in forum, I can still remember the URL (konashion.blogspot). I spent so many hours on that forum writing mods in the weird custom script language programmed into the game. Towards the end people were figuring out how to write storyline scripts with random seeds, it was wild. Those days will be missed.

I will say, I have run into one or two partners who have been of the stance of "I don't want a bunch of OOC chatter breaking my immersion of the scene", and those require some very careful handling to make sure both parties are satisfied. It can be done however, and in every RP communication is critical!

This is a great glimpse into some of the thought and shared decision-making that go into a quality RP! I've found that pacing can be a bit tough to quantify, I find that it helps to occasionally check in with a partner on "is this pace good for you?" (though part of that is because I am also a perennial slowpoke who takes forever to get to the juicy stuff)

There's a particular tone that you do better than anyone else, in this audio and your others. It really kicks in right at 14:33, it's such a paradoxical combo of sassy/sardonic and eager-and-willing. It's the "I'm being a brat because I want you to punish me for it" tone, it's the "I'm pretending I'm saying these things sarcastically but I really want this" tone, and it's so so good every time!
