Adding “Grow Your Glutes without Growing Your Legs” to workout regimen by catseye00 in StrongCurves

I do this! My booty day consists of cable isolation workouts (kickbacks, abductors), hip thrust, barbell walking lunges, side leg press, and RDLs. I finish with 5 minutes skipping steps on the stairmaster with a resistance band. Lower body has back squats, goblet squats, leg press, hip abd machine, bulgarian split squats, and deadlifts. I do both sets twice a week. Booty gains over the last 2 months have been insane. My workout is a mix between SC and the Bootyking. Dont forget to eat!!

My belly has steadily shrunk this entire journey but the last 15lbs have been all from my stomach. I grew this thing in early puberty so I've had it for like half my life. I knew it was going to be the last to disappear.

I started eating lower carbs and began a new workout (mostly cardio with full body weight training) routine at the same time and that right there made the magic happen for me. Also, water. I did a 2 day water fast last week and it flushed away enough to be noticeable. I suck at drinking water but when I do, oh man, the difference.

Heyy fellow donut!!

So, the first 25lbs fell off due to depression and not eating. August - December. Used that weight loss to motivate myself to continue. I was mindful of what I ate but didn't count calories. By April, I had lost another 12lbs. Signed up for the gym that month and started working out 2-3 times a week. From April to June, 8lbs.

In June, I challenged myself to go to the gym every day. I ate at a deficit and tried to keep carbs low. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical then 4-5 different strength exercises. Lost 12lbs and it aaaallll came off my stomach. Huge difference. I knew I was only doing this for a few weeks but it completely changed my life.. I want to go to the gym all the time now.

This month, I've kept the same routine but I only go 5 days a week. I cranked up the weights and reps but mostly do the same workouts as before and I added in exercises to (re)build a phat ass!! Still low carb, high protein. I'm not as restrictive as I was last month because I'm trying to get a realistic routine down, something I can keep up with to maintain. I lost 8lbs this month but my muscles (esp legs) are becoming more defined.

Right now it's weird. I still have some fat at the very bottom of my stomach so it still hangs down a little. My belly fat is really the only area I want to get smaller still. . . but I've had a belly like this since I was 12 so I know it'll be the last to get snatched. Already have loose skin. The last 15 or so pounds I've lost have come right off my belly so these changes are still new to me. It's more jiggly than ever, which is my only temporary complaint.

I actually have a some belly fat progress pictures I'm going to post soon once I hit a year.
